The representatives from EA the franchise mode wasn't neglected and that the mode would see significant adjustments in the near future. Since this happened in the days leading up to the release of Madden 25. the belief was that, even though it was likely to be too late to make major improvements to the Mut 25 coins. Madden 25 would likely be the one to begin to see modifications being implemented.

Online franchises were then required to debate whether or not they should attend to an update on the scouting system that was supposed to be included in the first update. Many leagues eventually deciding to delay the start of games until when it came. They would have to wait until the end of October and then EA finally announced an update that included the new method of Scouting. Many who had opted to hold off were left wondering if the new method of scouting was actually an upgrade to the previous system.

EA has taken a few days to disprove this claim and stated that their plans of releasing two additional franchise updates were not altered and that everyone had to be more patient.

In all fairness, it was only 4 months from the time that the Madden coins for sale game's release at that point.
