1)Uttar Pradesh - It is the largest rice-producing state in India.Here farmers can grow different types of long-grain and short-grain varieties depending on the season.
2) Bihar - Bihar’s climate is perfect for growing different types of rice. Different types of rice varieties, such as Turanta Dhan and Bisa Dhan-105, Gautam are grown in Bihar.
3) West Bengal - West Bengal grows different types of rice, such as Aman, Boro, and Aus.Here you can grow rice in summer and rainy season.
4) Punjab - This state cultivates many good-quality basmati rice. Districts known as Fatehgarh, Sangrur, and Ludhiana are famous for producing high quality rice.
5)Chhattisgarh - Here farmers are growing 2000 different varieties of rice in which some of them are Lal Dhan, Turia Kabri, and Chudi Dhan.
