MMoexp: Understanding Rituals and Favor in PoE 2

These rewards can range from useful crafting materials to powerful unique items like An Audience with the King.

Understanding Rituals and Favor in PoE 2
In Path of Exile 2, Rituals allow you to earn rewards by POE2 Currency spending Favor, a currency used to purchase items from Ritual Altars. These rewards can range from useful crafting materials to powerful unique items like An Audience with the King.

Favor is earned through clearing Rituals on each map.
Each Ritual provides a set of rewards that you can buy with Favor, but these rewards are hidden until you’ve completed the Rituals in the map node.
An Audience with the King is one of the rarest and most valuable rewards available, and it’s tied to the Ritual Altar system.
Why Complete All Rituals First?
Here’s why completing all Rituals in a map node is crucial before spending any Favor:

1. Reveals the Full Reward Pool
When you enter a map with multiple Rituals, completing all Rituals will reveal the entire reward pool for that map node. If you choose to spend Favor before finishing all the Rituals, you may be missing out on valuable rewards that were hidden.

Complete the Rituals first: By clearing each Ritual, you unlock the full range of possible rewards, giving you more insight into whether An Audience with the King is available.
Optimize Favor spending: This strategy allows you to spend your Favor wisely, ensuring you’re not wasting it on lesser rewards when more valuable items are hidden.
2. Increases Your Chances of Getting Rare Rewards
If you rush to spend Favor before completing all Rituals, you may be settling for suboptimal rewards. An Audience with the King may be present in the reward pool, but if you’ve already spent your Favor on other items, you might miss the chance to purchase it.

Wait for all Rituals: Take the time to finish all Rituals to see the complete list of rewards. This gives you the best possible chance of encountering rare items like An Audience with the King.
Maximize your odds: By completing all Rituals, you essentially ensure that you’re considering all the potential rewards before making a decision.
3. Saves Favor and Tribute
Favor is a limited resource that you’ll need to manage wisely, especially when farming for rare items. If you spend Favor too early, you could waste it on less valuable items, potentially preventing you from affording the An Audience with the King when it appears in the reward pool.

Save Favor: By holding off on spending Favor, you prevent unnecessary expenditure and ensure that you’re using your resources efficiently.
Strategic Spending: When you see the full set of rewards after completing all Rituals, you can make a more informed decision about where to allocate your Favor, maximizing your chances of buy POE2 Currency success.
